His open heart and determination make him such an astoundingly brilliant human being to work with and to be friends with. I deeply want to see him success in all areas of life and to his greatest potential. Colin is a shining example of somebody who is in the entertainment industry and takes strides to make a difference in other people's lives.

I asked Colin for his TOP 3 Tips for Entrepreneurs and what he felt his TOP 10 Achievements were, both personally and professionally because I believe this information will both inspire you and empower you, so here we go!

TOP 3 Tips for Entrepreneurs

1) You are enough. Too often the game changer is simply a greater belief in yourself, in your abilities.

2) Be prepared to work harder than everybody else and learn  to guard your heart.

3) Always, always make your word your honor. Integrity is the secret weapon. Even if it costs you a deal or an opportunity.

TOP 10 Achievements

1. I had the honor of raising my younger siblings after losing my father in a tragic car crash when I was 18 years old. Though young and ready to take on the world, I dedicated my youth to this responsibility and today they’re parents, raising the most remarkable children who I get to call my nephews and nieces. Few know this.

2. In 2014 I was selected as one of 40 South African specialists to study the German infrastructure for electric vehicles in Germany. we might have our very own South African electric car on the road soon. Wink Wink!

3. At age 16 I was featured in the South African Grade 9 Arts and Culture text book. My dance partner and I (our story) was an entire four page comprehension.

4. At 17 I was selected to represent South Africa in the Zimbabwe National dance Championships. I WON MY CATEGORY.

5. I co-owned a business at 19 which is where my drive for business was nurtured and developed.

6. At 25 I graduated with a postgrad in Business. I immediately launched my business, packed my bags and moved to Johannesburg to build. Today (4 years later) the business is thriving and continues to touch and impact the lives of many.

7. I currently (together with my business partner) Jimi Ogunlaja run the #1 dedicated fashion and beauty lifestyle TV Channel in South Africa. This is a big deal and we have big plans!

Colin and his business partner Jimi
8. I am the international host and moderator for Africa's largest fintech leadership event where we travel the continent bringing together world leaders who are passionate about Africas growth. 80% of Africans are underbanked (do not have access to financial services). We will be the change needed to pioneer this movement.

9. My book Unmasking Ego - The Naked Entrepreneur will be published in 2019. South African entrepreneurs are struggling, failing and losing hope. We need to talk openly and honestly about these challenges.

10. I am the proud father to the cutest four legged fury friend anyone could have!

Colin, may you keep your incredible untainted caring beautiful spirit alive and your successes be plentiful and soar you the greatest of heights, I look forward to seeing what you come up with next!

Change is inevitable, progress is optional with Susana Kennedy

Dearest Friends

There is a very true saying which states that the only thing that we can count on is change. For many people this is a petrifying thought, they find deep comfort and even attachment to how things are and dread the thought of anything changing, but the reality is that no matter what you do, change will happen. Whether change is something that comes from a deep desire to grow or whether it is trust upon you, there are ways of making the most of navigating your way through change and so my next video will be about some of what I have learnt about change, idea's and understandings that have helped me immensely, I am sharing them in the hopes that they too will assist you.

(I recorded the video two weeks ago, apologies for the delay in sending it to you all, I just still feel it is helpful so had to share) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esJk5OyoSAE

Outcome vs journey, what is more important and why?

Dearest Friends

In today's day and age we spend so much time focused on the end goal, stressing ourselves out about the outcome that we wish to achieve, that we often forget to focus on what is really important. While going about my research I came across some information that grapples with exactly this subject and I found the content so useful in shifting the pressure and re-prioritising the way I look at things,
it is also a portion of what sparked some of the content for "Liberated, Lovely & Loaded" so of course I had to share :-)

This is what I learnt...

3 Life Changing Things I Have Gained by Learning to Love Myself

Dearest Friends

I didn't realise how dangerous a lack of Self Love was, until my life depended on it, it literally almost killed me. When people talk about the concept of "Self-Love" many don't understand what it actually means and what benefits truly loving yourself can bring into your life. As many of you know, I have been on a life changing journey over the past three and a half years and my journey of cultivating self love and acceptance has transformed the person I am in so many ways and I am not done yet! I feel the shifts and changes happening every single day and I am so incredibly grateful for every moment of it as it brings me closer to becoming the ultimate version of myself.
In this next video blog I discuss three (and yes, a fourth one snuck it's way in there too) of the ways in which my life have shifted for the better.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PswyGA3fP4

I am sharing this with you for two reasons:

1. In the hopes that it motivates you to begin your journey, if you haven't already begun. Or motivates you to continue on your journey if you have already begun, but feel tired and maybe need a little boost!
2. And always to remind you that we are all on the same journey together, we are all the same, all battling the same challenges, I am no better of worse than anyone else but by doing the work, we can all transform our lives.

On the 19th to the 21st of May, I am holding an intimate gathering of only 10-15 people (max) as we go on a journey from merely existing, into a truly Thriving, by cultivating Self-Love and Happiness and Abundance Consciousness!

This weekend is filled with love and pampering for every level of self love, from the menu, to daily meditations and yoga, to a pampering massage and accommodation in a luxury 5 Star Boutique Hotel. You will be placed in the lap of luxury but true transformation requires some work and I am not going to pretend my courses are for everyone, because they are not. They will challenge you and you will feel uncomfortable at times too, but if you come with an open heart, an open mind and the commitment to growth, you can achieve exceptional transformation. How do I know this? Because I have experienced it first hand, so I know it is possible. This is one of the reasons I share my story, because sometimes we need to be told that something is possible so that we can realise it is possible for us too. It is possible for you too!

To find out more about Born to Thrive go to http://www.susana.co.za/live-love-thrive/

If you decide that right now is not the time to invest in this course, please at least make a pledge to yourself to invest in yourself this week in some way that will take you to the next level and closer to your ultimate self.

As always please send me your feedback, it is essential to my growth and assists me in delivering better material to you. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your continued support.

Sending you loads of love, light and happiness with wishes for an abundant and joyful week ahead, bye for now!
